攀岩的困扰攀岩，几个月前听说此名词的时候，还是觉得挺陌生，但一旦上了瘾之后，每周便要挑战一回，不然心里总觉得痒痒的。当然，为此我也付出了“惨痛”的代价，两只手被摩的全是老茧，和农民伯伯勤劳的双手不相上下，不过我也不指望十指纤白，反正在化学实验室，那双手是不会漂亮的！这且不算，在新春之前，我把手臂给拉伤了，居然连绳子也握不住了，连着几个晚上，半夜醒来，只觉手臂疼痛，敷了热水袋都无济于事。于是，我便乖乖的休假，而我的那些爬墙的狐朋狗友觉得我是小题大做，还坚持认为我不够强壮，该多锻炼才是！
 当然，我想过了，如果要坚持这项运动，一些投资是必然的，这其中包括登山鞋，登山的装备。我又犹豫不决，要知道攀岩不是项“便宜”的运动，假如将来放弃，不就可惜了这些花费？于是，根据我朋友们的建议，该煽动kochany一起加入爬墙的行列。这样，我的投资才所值！经反复思量，针对我kochany热爱行走地面，恐惧垂直极限的事实，我选择了先恭维的策略。
于是，某天在MSN上，我告诉了他攀岩乐趣无穷，具有挑战性，综合了思维，意志，体能和平衡性。然后，我又说，你们波兰人手长脚长，身材好，最适合爬墙了。。。他若有所思，突然对着镜头，对我说：
“是的，如果一个波兰人和亚洲人同样身高，明显的亚洲人的腿会短一节，是这样。。”
我昏倒！这话怎能轮到他说去了？看来我得注意他近来在观察些什么！到最后，他做出结论，亲爱的，你比较适合打乒乓，而不是爬墙。。。
 Chinese new yearThe Year of the Pig
Chinese New Year is the longest and most important celebration in the Chinese calendar. The Chinese year 4705 begins on Feb. 18, 2007. Chinese months are reckoned by the lunar calendar, with each month beginning on the darkest day. New Year festivities traditionally start on the first day of the month and continue until the fifteenth, when the moon is brightest. In China, people may take weeks of holiday from work to prepare for and celebrate the New Year. A Piggy YearLegend has it that in ancient times, Buddha asked all the animals to meet him on Chinese New Year. Twelve came, and Buddha named a year after each one. He announced that the people born in each animal's year would have some of that animal's personality. Those born in pig years tend to have excellent manners, make and keep friends, work very hard, and appreciate luxury. They are very loving and make loyal partners. Fireworks and Family Feasts At Chinese New Year celebrations people wear red clothes, decorate with poems on red paper, and give children "lucky money" in red envelopes. Red symbolizes fire, which according to legend can drive away bad luck. The fireworks that shower the festivities are rooted in a similar ancient custom. Long ago, people in China lit bamboo stalks, believing that the crackling flames would frighten evil spirits. The Lantern FestivalIn China, the New Year is a time of family reunion. Family members gather at each other's homes for visits and shared meals, most significantly a feast on New Year's Eve. Chinese New Year ends with the lantern festival on the fifteenth day of the month. Some of the lanterns may be works of art, painted with birds, animals, flowers, zodiac signs, and scenes from legend and history. People hang glowing lanterns in temples, and carry lanterns to an evening parade under the light of the full moon. In many areas the highlight of the lantern festival is the dragon dance. The dragon—which might stretch a hundred feet long—is typically made of silk, paper, and bamboo. Traditionally the dragon is held aloft by young men who dance as they guide the colorful beast through the streets.

~ George Eliot 两部暴力影片新年过后，回到贝尔法斯特，我的生活状态又回到了特有的定律中，比如：每周末看1-2场电影。在通常情况下，我比较偏爱看浪漫喜剧，或是一些幽默逗趣的卡通片，原因是看着消遣不累，是很好的娱乐方式。
可是有一周，我“中奖”了，连着两天看了两部让人直发闷的“暴力”倾向的影片“The last king of Scotland"和"Apocalypto".说暴力的严重程度，可是有凭有据的，比如：在电影院内，有些人中途退场，还有一位老大爷在看“Apocalypto”时，不停的咳嗽，看完之后，又愣愣地坐在原位，像是受了刺激没有回过神。这让我进一步了解了自己的忍耐力和心里承受能力。
“The last king of Scotland" 讲述了70年代苏格兰一位年青的医生只身前往乌干达，在一次偶然事件中，他被迫地成为了当时统治者Idi Amin的私人医生，从此，他的个人生活便陷入了重重的危机中，他原有的天真，单纯的生活梦想彻底的开始瓦解。影片的故事情节始终扣人心悬，而最后男主人所受的暴行更加强了影片情感的碰撞。
“Apocalypto”是Mel Gibson执导的影片，在看前，就有好些朋友的推荐。可看完后，我个人还是觉得有些失望，虽然我明白这部电影所要表达的意图，不外乎于人类文明史的建立和发展是基于掠夺，谋杀和暴力上，它讲述了一个文明摧毁另一个文明的故事，但整部电影的情节都是在预料之中，男主人当然会历经重重波折存活到最后，并与他妻子重逢，这似乎有些老掉牙，所以整个故事并没有带给我多大的意外，倒是其中一些血淋淋的屠杀场面让我再一次领教了Mel Gibson的导演天赋，和上一部“Passion of the Christ”相比较，暴力的细致描述似乎更出神入化了！
两部电影相比较，我还是喜欢前一部，不仅仅是因为在故事的情节发展和人物的感情冲撞上，也因为男主人那一口典型的“Scottish Accent” 让我喜爱不已。那个周末过后，我便毅然决定要看喜剧片，于是我便翻出了碟片看了”Bridget Jone“，尽管这里所有的男人说这是一部“Chick-flick”moive,意思是指给小女人看的电影，而我的Kochany更说讨厌“Bridget Jone”，我却依旧乐此不彼，嘻嘻哈哈看了好几回，还是觉得很有趣。对于我来说，能带来欢快的电影，便是一部好电影。
