Monday usually is not a welcoming day. This morning, I was so much loving with my fluffy duvet that I almost failed to get up. Arriving in lab was already 10am, yet surprisingly I was still an early bird. Then came Laurent, the French chemist with tousy hair and drowsy eyes. He was in Paris last weekend and apparently, the ghast weather did not make him a successful holiday.

Laurent looked puzzled and picked up his liquid sample made from last week. He started to complain:” Oh, it is still not crystallized!” At mean time, Gosia stepped in. Then we all had a careful look of his sample and found there were a little bit crystals formed.  The French chemist seemed very unsatisfied and impatient with his products, perhaps due to the miserable weather?

 “I have waited a weekend, it is not finishing crystallization!” He muttered.

“Be patient! It is like girls, you know take some time!” Gosia patted his shoulder.

“Oh…yeah….my god, girls!” He must be amazed by Gosia’s tease.

“Well, happy Monday to you Laurent” Gosia stepped out with her joking smile.

 I  loved Gosia’s tease. Yep, happy Monday BP lab!
